iafrica.com is giving away copies of King of Fighters XII for PS3 and Xbox 360!

One of the most legendary series of all time returns as King of Fighters XII makes its way to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, with plenty of surprises for its fifteenth anniversary.

The first surprise will be the visuals, as for the first time ever, the series has undergone a complete graphical overhaul – sporting impressive high quality, high resolution sprites. The new, 100 percent hand-drawn backgrounds also deliver tons of detail!

King of Fighters XII delivers 22 superbly detailed characters with fan favourites such as Joe, Kensou, Clark and Athena, along with a fan-favourite arcade mode in which to do three on three battles.

Online play has also been brought to the series, allowing you to do battle with friends around the world. Of course, there's also a local multiplayer mode for those wanting to do battle the more traditional way.

Newcomers to the series are welcomed at home thanks to the snazzy visuals and lightning fast gameplay, which often sees matches won and lost in a flash thanks to the spectacular combos and special attacks being dished out.

For the hardcore fans, the addition of a Critical Counter means that you'll now be able to create your own custom combo mid-match!

All of this comes together to form the ultimate fighting game, with something for the hardcore fans as well as newbies. Who said that 2D fighting games were dead?
