There are a gamut of websites offering reviews on the net, with everything from IMDB.com to Rotten Tomatoes gaining a large following to say the least. But it's refreshing to see a website as unique as Four Word Film Review.
The premise of www.fwfr.com is pretty obvious ? readers submit their own reviews in no more than four words. As silly as it sounds, it actually works, as there are plenty of great submissions to be had.
There are a wide range of movies covered too, ranging from 'Gone with the Wind' ('Rhett finally stops caring') and King Kong ('Gorilla warfare in Manhattan') to Avatar ('Fight for Smurf Turf') and District 9 ('The Prawn Identity').
Users can also vote for their favourite reviews, while the most prolific reviewers unlock various rewards such as more ratings and higher ranks. Of course, there's the prerequisite 'fourum' for those who like to make their opinions known.
Four Word Film Review may not have the extensive features of its peers like IMDB.com, but its unique premise and variety of reviews more than makes up for it. So, create an account and start contributing!
