Microsoft will be holding a worldwide launch parties for Windows 7 and is encouraging people to host them at home.

According to www.launchparty.com, those wanting to host will need to apply online. Hosts will receive a special copy of Windows 7 Ultimate as well as access to 'Party Central' – an online community. Users will also be able to upload their party photos and videos to the site.
