It's time for our weekly look at the world of smartphone applications, and we've got some good ones this time.
In this iteration, we have a Klout mobile app, a few Instagram rivals for Windows Phone 7 and more!
Klout for iPhone
For social media addicts, Klout is one of the best services around, aiming to give you more insight into your social presence.
Now, the company has released an application for Apple's iOS devices, letting users obsess over their score wherever they are.
UEFA Euro 2012
The prestigious football tournament may be two months away, but an official application has already been launched, across nine platforms to boot!
Available for eight platforms, including iPhone, BlackBerry, Java, Android and Windows Phone, the app brings live text commentary, news and premium content to users.
The application also features geolocation functionality and augmented reality, making for a pretty full-featured download.
EyeEM
Superstar photo application Instagram might be missing from the Windows Phone 7 marketplace, but there are a few rivals out there, with EyeEM being the latest.
This nifty application gives you eleven photo filters, sharing via Facebook and Twitter and more; making it worth a look.
If EyeEM doesn't float your boat, then there are quite a few Windows Phone alternatives around, with InstaCam and Fhotoroom being two of the best.
Free App a Day
It can be tough to keep track of great app deals on the App Store, but this iOS program does a fantastic job, offering a free app every day (as the name implies).
Whether it's a AAA blockbuster game or a useful application, you never know what you're going to get.
Samsung Mobile Unpacked app
Samsung has released a free Android app dedicated to this week's Mobile Unpacked event, widely expected to be the unveiling of a new Galaxy device.
The app lets users live-stream the event, grants access to press releases and features Samsung's social media channels, so you'll be the first to know about the new product.
Pocket Academy
Japanese developer KairoSoft has made a name for itself thanks to its simulation/strategy titles, with Game Dev Story, Grand Prix Story and others all gaining critical success.
Now, the team has released Pocket Academy for iOS and Android, letting you take control of a school. It might sound mundane but a free trial version is available if you're on the fence about it.
