Sony's press briefing was pretty much the same as Microsoft's, with great games but few surprises again, with BEYOND: Two Souls, from Quantic Dream and starring Ellen Page, being the exception.

Nevertheless, new footage of eagerly anticipated Naughty Dog title The Last of Us, PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale and more made up for the lack of big reveals.

Sony's PlayStation Vita also received some love, with the likes of LittleBigPlanet, Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation and other games being revealed.

Augmented reality is another area that suits the console wonderfully, with the aforementioned game looking pretty nifty.
