PlayStation Now is set to expand on its catalogue of 483 games with the long-awaited addition of PS4 titles to the mix.
Previously, Now users have only been able to stream selected PS3 titles to their PCs, smart TVs and PlayStation TVs.
Last month, Sony announced that it will be ceasing the service on the PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, PlayStation TV, as well as on all its Bravia TVs and Blu-ray players.
In the coming weeks, however, Sony will be testing the feature with select PS Now users on PS4 and PC, in preparation for a big launch.
PS Now offers users the advantage of playing games without actually downloading them, utilising cloud processing and strong internet connections.
In South Africa, hard copies of games remain the crowd favourite for the time being, but as our internet infrastructure improves, more and more users are choosing to purchase digital versions of titles from the PlayStation Store.
If you are an avid PlayStation gamer, or even a PC gamer looking for a taste of console-only titles, give it a go. You can enjoy a free seven-day trial right here.
