Microsoft’s upcoming powerhouse gaming system, the Xbox One X, promises to be the most powerful console ever. What’s under the hood?
Well, for starters, it’s got a CPU with eight custom cores capable of 2,3GHz of processing power, overshadowing the 2,1GHz clocked by its main competitor, the PS4 Pro.
It’s GPU is even more impressive, with 40 compute units pumping out 1172MHz, compared to the PS4 Pro’s capable 911MHz. It’s also got 33% more RAM than the competition.
The machine, previously known as Project Scorpio, will be fully 4K and VR capable, and despite the immense power crammed into it, it’s smaller than any of its predecessors.

Microsoft has announced a retail price of $499 (R 6500) for its 1TB model – a reasonable price for a very impressive machine.
