We're back for our weekly peek at the world of mobile applications, with some fantastic stuff in this edition.

This time, we have Street Fighter X Tekken, a classic PC game on mobile and a game to demonstrate the power of the iPhone 5.

Subway Surfers

Already available on Apple devices, this popular endless running title is now available on Android gadgets.

Subway Surfers sees you having to escape from an inspector, with a hoverboard and jetpack coming into play.

The game is worth a look if you've grown tired of Temple Run, available free of charge on both Android and iOS.

The Bard's Tale

Classic role-playing title The Bard's Tale has garnered loads of fans on PC, and now it's ready for a new generation thanks to an Android release.

The title requires almost 2GBs of storage, so make sure you have enough available space before purchasing the title.

The Bards Tale is available on iOS and Android for roughly $5.

Street Fighter X Tekken Mobile

The Street Fighter series is another renowned videogame franchise, with the iPhone version of Street Fighter 4 being pretty well received too.

Now, Street Fighter X Tekken is out too, featuring random power-ups, online multiplayer and Retina Display graphics.

The game is available on iOS at $2.99 for a limited time only, so Capcom fans will want to snatch this up pronto.

Lili

An iPhone exclusive game, Lili was demonstrated at the iPhone 5 launch event, showcasing the power of Apple's new handset.

A free-roaming adventure/RPG of sorts, Lili has some beautiful visuals and a great storyline.

The game is available on iOS devices for $4.99, weighing in at almost 400MBs.

Rayman Jungle Run

The Rayman franchise has enjoyed a resurgence in the last year, with the highly rated Rayman Origins game and the upcoming Rayman Legends.

Now, Ubisoft has released a fantastic endless running title, called Rayman Jungle Run, featuring some beautiful visuals and plenty of content.

Rayman Jungle Run is available on iOS for $2.99, with an Android port set to hit by the end of the week.

Timelapse

We enjoy video clips as much as the next person, but GIF images are some of the more convenient options around.

So, an Android developer created Timelapse, a GIF maker that lets you create... well... timelapses too.

Timelapse is available free of charge from the Google Play Store, so you've got nothing to lose by downloading it.

YouTube

Updated your iPhone or iPad to iOS 6? Then you'll notice the distinct lack of a YouTube client.

However, Google has since released a fantastic application on the App Store, letting you check out your subscriptions, change video quality and much more.
