It's time to take a look at the latest and greatest mobile applications this week, with some great stuff lined up.
In this edition, we have a nifty skateboarding game, µTorrent Remote for Windows Phone and much more.
Probe The Humans
Another fantastic multiplatform title, Probe The Humans has you assuming the role of an alien. And no, you won't be doing any probing.
What you will be doing however, is abductions, with the level becoming tougher as the game progresses. It's a load of fun and best of all, it's free to download.
Probe The Humans is available on iOS and Android, with a BlackBerry PlayBook version in the works too.
Funky Smugglers
Featuring loads of swiping and gestures, Funky Smugglers is one of the more enjoyable games in recent weeks.
The game has you checking airline passengers through an X-ray scanner, swiping away any dangerous items you find.
At $0.99 on iOS and Android, Funky Smugglers is a bargain and worth a look if you're after an addictive title.
True Skate
Skateboarding games haven't exactly been churned out on mobile devices, with EA's Skate, Touchgrind and a few others being the only picks.
However, True Skate manages to combine great visuals with some semi-realistic gameplay, allowing you to kickflip, noseslide and more.
True Skate is available from Apple's App Store for $1.99, so those looking to get their grind on should check it out.
Borderlands 2 Map App
Mega-popular console shooter Borderlands 2 has been lighting up the charts since its launch, thanks to some over-the-top action and gajillions of guns.
Now, an official map application has been released for iPhone and iPad, shedding light on the game's collectibles and easter eggs.
Available for $2.99, the app is essential if you want to complete the game 100 percent.
EyeLord
Reminiscent of old school puzzle games like Zuma, Eyelord is a match-three game that sees you having to match different coloured eyeballs.
The game stands out even more thanks to its heavy metal/hair band theme, with a fantastic soundtrack to go with it.
Eyelord is another iOS exclusive, being free to download from the Apple App Store.
µTorrent Remote
Released earlier this year, µTorrent Remote lets users manage their PC and Mac downloads from afar, using only their Android or iOS smartphone.
Now, the program has made its way to Windows Phone too, making for a convenient way of tracking your downloads.
µTorrent Remote for Windows Phone is available free of charge from the Windows Phone Marketplace.
Sonic Jump
Originally released as a Japanese exclusive a few years back, Sega has launched a new version of Sonic Jump.
Much like Doodle Jump, Sonic Jump is a vertical platformer of sorts, with players having to continually leap upwards through up to 36 levels.
Sonic Jump is available on iOS for $1.99.
