Footage showcasing gameplay for Mass Effect Andromeda has been leaked online.
The highly anticipated sequel is due to be released early in 2017 and is likely to be a unique edition in the Mass Effect series.
According allgamesdelta.net, the game play footage is from an early prototype build taken from an unknown developer's visual effects (VFX) show reel dating back to 2014.
Since it is older footage, some elements may have changed, but the video at least gives a glimpse of the product.
The recently leaked video includes expected game features such as jetpack propulsion in an open world. There is also a definite newcomer in the series.
Meanwhile a narrative scene showing a human and a krogan in some sort of dispute is also included.
BioWare released an image of the game around the same time in 2014 which shows the game's heads-up-display (HUD), which matches that of the one in the leaked video.
The final product though is expected to have much better graphics.
While details on the game remain pretty scarce, BioWare is expected to expand on these elements at the upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in June.
