Blizzard Entertainment's eagerly-anticipated online first-person team shooter Overwatch is now live worldwide.
The game is available on Windows PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Haven't heard of the game? Our first question is: where have you been? But we won't judge - let's rather tell you a bit about the game.
Overwatch is set in the near-future as soldiers compete for strategic locations around the world.
That's where you and your team come in - you must work together to defeat your competitors.
There are several game modes where you can either play against other players or AI.
Overwatch even allows players to create custom games so that they may tweak the rules in their matches.
The game seems similar to Team Fortress 2, but gamers are excited by the interesting, numerous characters and compelling gameplay of Overwatch.
You can purchase the normal edition of Overwatch for €39.99 (R704) straight from Blizzard.
The Origins Edition of the game (PC) is available on Takealot for R899 while the Collector's Edition is selling for R2 499.
Meanwhile on Raru.co.za the game is being sold for R862.
The game is also available locally from retailers. BT Games is selling the game for R899.
