Map app Waze has revolutionised voice-guided navigation forever by introducing a new voice recorder feature on Android devices.
Using the feature, reports LifeHacker, allows one to record all 39 of Waze’s phrases in their own voice. Sound a bit creepy? Well, it is.
On the other hand, it could be your better half’s voice guiding your journey, or even that of a beloved celebrity – although that would take a lot of rummaging through and recording of movie lines.
It’s a strange feature, but one that’s bound to result in hours of laughter and mischief – just imagine getting your hands on an unwitting friend’s phone. They’ll never see – or hear – it coming!
It’s unclear when the feature will come to iOS devices, but in the meantime, it’s already available on the Google Play Store.
Waze has often popped up in the news for its quirks, most notably the addition of Morgan Freeman's silky-smooth narration last year. Sadly, it's no longer available, but you could always try your best impersonation.
