Gamers are in for a treat as night racing comes to F1 2009 for the Nintendo Wii and PSP, with Codemasters releasing in-game footage of the Singapore Street Circuit for the first time.
The Singapore Grand Prix was well-received by fans and grand prix drivers alike and marked the first time that a Formula One race was held under lights. The circuit was illuminated by almost 1500 lighting projectors – four times brighter than the average stadium.
F1 2009 is due to be released in the fourth quarter of 2009 for the Wii and PSP and is the prequel to F1 2010, which will be released in 2010 for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
F1 2010 will be making use of Codemasters' EGO Engine – used in both Colin McRae Dirt and Race Driver: Grid.
