Sony's latest home console will still allow users to play used games.
Rumours have swirled in recent months that Microsoft and Sony could implement systems that block used-games, forcing gamers to purchase new titles only.
However, Shuhei Yoshida, Sony Worldwide Studios boss, has poured cold water on the claims in an interview with Eurogamer.
"They [consumers] purchase physical form, they want to use it everywhere, right? So that's my expectation," Yoshida was quoted as saying.
"So, used games can play on PS4."
