An underwater wheelchair has been developed, allowing disabled people to go diving.
The invention, created by disabled artist Sue Austin, was created with the help of academics and diving experts, the BBC reported.
The wheelchair is powered by two propulsion vehicles and is steered with the aid of a fin and acrylic strip.
The creation was built using a standard NHS wheelchair, with a more robust chair installed to withstand pressures placed on it.
The next iteration of the underwater wheelchair is set to be made of titanium as the current creation is beginning to rust.
