Google is reportedly set to launch a new 10-inch tablet at its 29 October event.
The device, codenamed Manta and referred to as the Nexus 10, is being built by South Korean giant Samsung, The Next Web reported, citing sources familiar with Google's plans.
The slate will reportedly feature a 2560x1600 touchscreen with 300 pixels per inch, besting the new iPad's 264 PPI.
According to the article, the tablet will run Android 4.2, which introduces multiple user accounts and a vertical panorama mode.
A new tablet might not be the only unannounced gadget at the event, with numerous leaks showing off LG's Nexus 4 smartphone.
The Nexus 4 features a 1.5Ghz quad-core processor, 4.7-inch 1280x768 screen, 2GBs of RAM and an eight-megapixel camera.
Nevertheless, enthusiasts will need to wait another week for Google's event.
