Tokiwa DataRecovery is a utility that recover deleted files. See the link to their site: http://tokiwa.qee.jp/EN/dr.html.<br />This will definately not help with a crashed PC.<br /><br />OS [operating system] failure:<br />Any Linux live CD can be used for recovery or a Bart recovery disk - if you follow the instructions to make the live CD.<br />Even easier... Put the disk into another computer and browse it as a seperate drive. No need to install any additional software.<br /><br />The author might consider to rename the article as the title is totally misleading.<br /><br />I feel sorry for the person that tries to recover from an operating system failure using this article. <br /><br />After all this the writer of the article failed to mention if we are talking about Linux, Windows or any OS. Considering the softwar link that was posted we can safely say that it is only for Windows based PC.<br /><br />One thing that we do agree apon is backups. document.write("If your drive crashed because of a hardware failure you can put the hard drive in a plastick bag (cover it well) and put it in the freezer for a few hours. Connect it to a different pc as secondory slave and you will be able to recover something. Repeat the steps till you have all the files.. Hendrik");
